Spore Drop Earring Silver
Natural formations and growth patterns influence much of my work.
This unusual texture is dendritic growth created by manipulating metal ion deposition during the electroforming process. The organic structure contrasts with the polished concave centre of the earring.
The original models for my Spore range are "grown" in copper by electroforming. A mould is made before casting in sterling silver.
Spore drop earrings, silver.
Earrings are approximately 15x15mm with a drop hook fitting and small plastic nut for extra security. Total length including the hook is 40mm.
All my jewellery is hallmarked at the Goldsmiths Assay Office of London, and bears my registered makers mark, that guarantees the content, purity and quality of the metal.
Can be stored in its luxury, black, soft touch ring box bearing my logo.
May be cleaned with a silver cloth or dish soap, water and a soft brush. Can also be silver dipped following manufacturers instructions.
